In this video, you will learn about exterminators. This video discusses some common myths about exterminators and pests and debunks them. The first myth about bugs is that all mosquitos bite.
That is not true, only female mosquitos bite. Female mosquitos bite humans because they need the protein in order to produce their eggs. Some mosquitos feed on frogs or animals. At the very least, you should be wearing long pants or long sleeves to prevent bites. Another myth is that mosquitos will bite you if you’re sweet. That is not true. Mosquitos will go after whatever blood they are in the mood for that day. The next myth is that head lice jump. This is not true. The only way to spread lice is the person to person contact. For example, if a hairbrush is shared and it has lice, the other person can get lice. With headlice, it is not as much a pest control issue as it is a health issue. Lice brushes are designed to catch lice. You can also blow-dry the hair and lice are pretty fragile. Most lice will die at high temperatures. You can also put clothing in the dryer.
